Tucson Greyhounds: Event Fun and Volunteering

The Art and Jazz Festival at  St. Philips and the PETCO adoption event were both a huge success. Forty-five Beading Diva Bracelets were sold over two days and two new prospective fosters joined our ranks. St. Philip's Saturday Farmer's Market asked us to do Meet & Greets. And, at the PETCO event Southern Arizona Greyhound Adoption was awarded half of the proceeds from a custom dog house raffle held by Miramonte builders.

Events are a lot of fun and only possible if we have volunteers to staff them. You get to meet interesting people and spend time getting to know other Southern Arizona Greyhound Adoption folks. What is nicer than educating others and bragging about our beautiful hounds? We have a chance to let others know about our organization and why we are so passionate about finding the very best homes for the dogs in our care. It is a chance for us to find adopters, fosters, donors, and to explore new opportunities. If you haven't volunteered for a special event, consider Dogtoberfest on Octover 28th, Pizza, Paws and Pampering on Novenber 17th or the Oro Valley Festival of the Arts on December 1st and 2nd. You will have a greyt time.
